So more Spring Break.....
On Monday we got up kinda early and got ready for the day then we went to see this lady, Heidi, to have her teach us palm tree frond painting. To be honest, at first Laura and I were a bit worried/indifferent about the whole thing mostly because we just didn't really know what we were getting in to. But, after about 10 minutes or so we settled in and it actually turned out to be way awesome.
This is how they turned out. Mine seems to be looking off to the side while Laura's is all cute and whatnot ha. Oh well. It was really interesting as Heidi explained to us how to best paint them yet also make it our own and kinda do our own thing. They turned out so awesome and it's something I will always treasure and love about Florida.
After spending about two hours doing that, we went back to the house and changed then hit up the beach! Woot! Beach time baby! And let me tell you, the beaches in Florida are SPECTACULAR! It was awesome. We were there for probably close to 4 hours then went home and swam for a little bit, showered, then just kinda hung out when Laura's grandma came in giving us some money to walk down to the town center (this little store area in the middle of their neighborhood), and buy some ice cream. It was such a pleasant walk and we got there right before they closed. We took our time walking back and just enjoyed the scenery. I really have a great temptation to move to Florida now......(Don't worry though, we DEFINITELY watched The Bachelor when we got back given that it was the finale and all haha).

Even in 85 degree weather, my M&M's managed not to melt! (Except I discovered this after Laura's little mishap with Gatorade in her backpack that destroyed her phone leading her to use mine all week ha)
