So the day has finally come! I am cast free and lovin it! This has been such a long six weeks after surgery and I am so glad that it is finally over. Yes, I still have lots of therapy to do before I can really being to move and be normal, but the feeling of freedom is just so great. And I can finally drive my cute little car again! =] No cast also means that I no longer have to use a million black garbage bags and duck tape them to my leg in order to shower. That was such a pain, and I went through tons of bags and two rolls of tape.
Other than suffering through the heat with a lame cast, lately I have just been babysitting up a storm. Great summer huh? Oh well, gotta get money for college somehow. I can't believe that it is already almost July. That means in six weeks I am already going to be heading permanently back to good Ole Utah. Crazy how time just seems to fly by. I mean every time that I turn around lately someone is getting married or having a baby or coming home from their mission. Am I seriously this old that those people are all my friends now? Too weird. I don't feel like I should be this old at all. Pretty soon everyone around me will be married and I'll still be tryin to figure out life and wanting to go travel the world and experience new things. It seems like I just blinked and all of a sudden I have grown up. What's with that? When did we become adults and how on earth do we make it stop? I'm not ready to have to be that responsible. ha.
In the next year, I am hoping to at least begin some travels of the world, and hopefully decide on a major.... I'm not sure that will ever happen though. Oh well. Soon I will put up some more pictures of my foot and it's awesome glory and the adventure that Laura and I took to Lookout Mountain last week. Maybe also the time I spend at the lake tomorrow if I remember my camera. Have a great week!
